Cancers are the major public health problem and socio-economic burden of many countries worldwide. In Thailand, cancer is the leading cause of death and exerts an increasingly negative impact upon the public health and socio-economic status of the country. Standard treatments for several cancers are surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, all of which are effective in early stages of the diseases with limited success rates.  In addition, the difficulty in early diagnosis leads to the progression to advanced stages, which will not response to the standard treatments, causing low survival rates. Since cellular immunotherapy is highly potential for treatment of several cancers, research and development of this technology are rapidly progressed.

This conference is organized to be a forum for direct interaction and sharing of the research results and experiences among the researchers from different groups. Additionally, to encourage multilateral research collaboration and networking, the speakers from other Thai and international institutes are invited to present and share their experiences. The new researchers and research groups in this field are also invited to attend this conference.
