Research is crucial in the development of comprehension and a critical mission for the higher education institution. Currently, in many countries, higher educational institutions have focused on research productivity by offering faculty the opportunity to carry out research along with teaching. In many universities, particularly in the West, tie productive research and creativity to tenure and promotion. Institutional research can be an important metric representing the quality of faculty members. In Thailand, however research presentation is not as widespread as it might be. In order to promote and develop the potential of the aspects of institutional faculty-driven research, and additionally to foster research experience at the international level, the Faculty of Management Science (FMS), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) has organized   the “5th International Conference on Management Science, Innovation, and Technology on the theme of Sustainable Development for Management & Innovation and Technology for the Preparation of ASEAN 2019.”

The 5th FMS International Conference will be a key pathway for developing and enhancing the standards of higher education. Research in the areas of Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Engineering will encompass the great magnitude of national development. Currently, various agencies collaborate to support and encourage development in the fields of Science, Engineering, and Energy. This international conference will be a platform to encourage scholars, researchers, professors, and students to share knowledge, new ideas, and learning innovation. As an interdisciplinary university of Thailand, this forum will have the potential to be a driving force to aim for top quality in education and research development.

The Faculty of Management Science of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is a state-educational agency whose policies and goals are to cultivate its strengthto becomea leading quality university and to compete with international universities. Accordingly, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is continuously responsive to key facets of the groundwork of higher education. Consequently, the university facilitates academic seminars and international research presentations in order to promote research collaboration as an arena share and exchange views among the researchers globally.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Management Science, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University presents the “5th FMS International Conference on Management Science, Innovation, and Technology on the theme of Sustainable Development for Management & Innovation and Technology for the Preparation of ASEAN 2018.”as a contribution to the development of a national education standard comparable to international standards.
